Pig Artworks

Look at our wonderful pig artworks. We had to sketch the background and then outline it with a black texta. Then we watercoloured the background to make it look fabulous. We painted a whole piece of paper pink and added the swirls before it dried. A few days later we cut out 3 circles to make the pig and put it all back together. We had lots of fun making these pigs. We got the original idea from Jeanette Carlstrom’s website.

Wow we love your pig art. We have been learning about pigs because one of our teachers has a friend with piglets. We thought you might like to watch this ad about a piglet called Piggy Sue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KTfyrTTey8

We loved the video. Thankyou for sharing it with us. The ad reminds us of Charlotte’s Web which we are reading in KC. We are glad that it was a happy ending.
