We are KC

KC are very excited to have some new blogging partners. We will be getting to know 2 classes from schools in New Zealand. Our new friends are a year 2 class in Room 9 at Pakuranga Heights School in Auckland NZ  and Room 2/3 at Elmgrove school in Otago NZ. We will get to share ideas and show them how clever we are in our classroom. We are really looking forward to getting to see what they do in their classrooms as well.

Our teacher is Mrs Carlos and we also have Tina helping out in our classroom most days. We look forward to telling you more about the things we like doing very soon. Stay tuned to see how clever we are.

Hello from Mosgiel in New Zealand. We are your new blogging buddies from Room 2/3 at Elmgrove School. We have two teachers in a double classroom with 30 kids. We are aged 5:0 years up to 6:2 years old. In New Zealand most kids start school on their 5th birthday; so everyone starts school on a different day. It is fun when someone new starts, we sing happy birthday and make them feel welcome. There are 270 kids at our school up to Year 6 (age 10/11 years).

We all start school at the beginning of the year even though we are lots of different ages. We have more than 700 people at our school. We love going to the library every week and sometimes even go at lunchtimes.
