The Hour Of Code

Today was the kick off of the Hour of Code and KC decided to get involved. The Hour of Code is a worldwide event that involves students learning a little bit about coding and programming and getting interested in computer science in the process. You can read about it here or here.

Mr Tomlins (our ICT teacher) came over to our classroom to help us. First he showed us The Foos website and we showed him how clever we were at problem solving to help the Foo get the stars. Here is a video of Jackson programming the Foo.

Then he showed us how to program a Probot. Probots are a bit like Bee-Bots but a bit more complicated to use. You can read about them on this website. Here are some photos of us experimenting with our Probots.

We had lots of fun and we think we are getting pretty good at programming.
