Bee-Bot Programming

Earlier this year we had lots of fun with Bee-Bots. You can read about Bee-Bots here. We learned how to program them so that they can go where we want them to go. We had to think about where we wanted them to go, which direction and how many squares they had to go in order to get them to the correct place. Here are some photos of us experimenting with them.

We had lots of fun and even played the Bee-Bot computer game that is on our school computers. We also played this app that you can download for an iPad. We highly recommend it.

We got so good at Bee-Bots that we realised that we could help teach other kids. Here is a “how-to” video that we created. We are very impressed by the stars of the movie Baxter, Jack, Claire and Sienna. They even did the filming with an iPad.
